The Committee presented its final report, Framework for the Future, to the Minister for Broadband, Communications and the Digital Economy, Senator the Hon Stephen Conroy, on 5 September 2008. The report was tabled in Parliament on 15 October 2008.

On 5 March 2009, the Minister announced the Government's response to the report.
