If you live in regional, rural and remote parts of Australia, you can share your opinion of telecommunications services in your area through the Regional Telecommunications Review survey.

The short online survey is a quick and easy way to provide feedback on your experiences, and is open until 31 July 2024.

You can also have your say by attending a face-to-face consultation or by providing a submission through the ‘have your say’ consultation page.

The Regional Telecommunications Review takes place every 3 years. This year, the Independent Review Committee is interested in hearing about:

  • the suitability of telecommunications during emergency situations
  • how emerging technologies could improve connectivity
  • ways telecommunications can support regional development.

A report on the findings and recommendations of the Review will be presented to the Government by December 2024.
